BLACK LOVE…Myths, Facts, and Choices

 

Black Love is about myths, facts and choices around Domestic Violence in Aboriginal Communities.  Through a bit of comedy, a lot of soul searching and hard hitting facts, Black Love is aimed at educating the local community on tackling the stigma of Black Love.

 

This Radio Series is produced by Gadigal Information Service and assisted by the Community Broadcasting Foundation Ltd through an Indigenous Special Projects grant for Anti Violence Awareness

 

This project is a local community initiative between Gadigal Information Service and Mudgin-Gal Aboriginal Women’s Centre and provides relevant contacts for referrals and resource services that are available for NSW.

Researched and spoken by Bronwyn Penrith and Dixie Gordon - Mudgin-Gal Aboriginal Women’s Centre

Written and performed by Aletha & Angaline Penrith, beat & guitar produced by Wire MC

Written by Cathie Cragie, produced by Redfern Community Centre music studio. Voices; Guy Simon, William McPherson, Gavin Ivey, Anna Jovanovic, and Yularna Dykes.
