Koori Radio 93.7FM presents Klub Koori Hip Hop Night featuring two of Gadigal Music’s highly talented recording artists Whitehouse and Duke Bailey. Only at the Gaelic Club with special guest Yung Nooky on Thursday 27 October.
Whitehouse is ready to unleash their new single PM Gonna Save Us from their debut album A Funk Intervention. The album is a mix of funk styles and old skool hip hop, peppered with controversial social, political and personal messages. Hailing from the inner west and western suburbs of Sydney, Whitehouse are a household name, rapidly growing in popularity since 2006. Since their EP release in 2009 they have established a huge fan base from a string of festival appearances at Festival Napuan in Port Villa, Vanuatu; Yabun Festival, The Dreaming Festival and others.
Duke Bailey is an emerging Aboriginal MC from Inverell, in the Northern tablelands of NSW. At 21, Duke has gone solo after being a member of Oz hip hop group Vital Heights. Duke has been performing for four years at several venues and festivals such as Byron Bay Legends of Rock Festival, Summer Sun Youth Festival plus more.
Yung Nooky has just debuted and released his EP, Resistance and also travelled to LA to collaborate with Taboo from one of the world’s most popular bands, Black Eyed Peas.
